i think that if the boyfriend is secure in the relationship, then yes! and it's good if the woman introduces her BF to her male friends. you can't tell a person, whether you are dating or not, that they can't have friends of the opposite sex. gotta have some trust, you know? otherwise, why are you even dating?
I agree with Joy! If the boyfriend has problems with his girlfriend having male friends then it really says more about him than it does about her. Whether it is insecurity, his past relationships,his future intentions, whatever. But I also believe the opposite (girlfriend should trust boyfriend with friends of the opposite sex). I would feel there is more of an issue if either one "hid" the friendships rather than share them.
Seeing as how my best friends through my whole life have been mostly women, I'd say I'm living proof that at least a guy can have female friends and have a girlfriend /wife!
